This adds to one of my favorite restaurants in Little Rock! Good service, and amazing taste! I will definitely come back!

I'll bump it up a star because it's one of the only Mediterranean restaurants in town. The quality is subpar-- I had the kofta plate with falafel as my side and a salad for $12.44. Very expensive for four kofta meatballs, three of which contained a bit too much gristle for my taste. The falafel sat under a heat lamp instead of being fresh (you see it sitting there when you order, but I figured they'd make a fresh batch since it took a while to put the kofta together). Portions were about average, prices were high, and quality was below average, but the guy serving and taking orders was really friendly and helpful. I wouldn't recommend it if you're expecting good quality Mediterranean, but it will cure the craving.

I decided to visit them on my lunch hour. I had their falafel plate, which included four quarters of flatbread, four balls of falafel, a cucumber and oil salad, and rice. All for under $8! Everything was really good, and I ended the meal feeling pleasantly full. Falafel in general is a little dry, and if I had it to do again (which I one day will), I would (and will) ask for extra yogurt. Just a little. Their falafel is as good as I've had. The rice was sweet and spicy at the same time. The salad was also great. The meal may have been raw ingredients when I arrived; it took them about fifteen minutes to put it in a box and send me on my way. They also gave me a drink for being a Yelper! 8/10, will definitely return and reccommend.

The spouse and I decided to visit this business we've known about for a long time, but never tried. The menu is extremely simple and I almost walked out. Glad I didn't. I had the beef donner kebab and my wife tried the beef donner kebab plate with fries and a feta salad. I was very pleased with the beef donner kebab. It was tasty and huge. The inclusion of iceburg lettuce was amusing as its seldom found in Mediterranean food served around the Med. I added a few fries to make the kebab more authentic. Similarly, my wife was overwhelmed with a large plate of sliced meat and quarters of bread. We both found the feta salad to be more Americanized than we care fore. Our server was from Syria and we enjoyed a nice exchange in Arabic. I'd consider coming back for the beef donner kebab and to practice Arabic. The 30+ photos uploaded by others are very representative of what you'll find.

So where should I start... I guess I have to start by the food obviously, right? So, I'm not a Kebab/Gyro expert, by I know when something tastes right or wrong, and this was definitely great! The portions are pretty good. I ordered a new item which as a Gyro with tomatoe based sauce and mushrooms, with rice and Babaganoush. It was a revelation! It tasted so good I almost had to repeat! I complemented it with bread, and each item got along pretty well. Then goes the service. It was great service! The manager who goes by the nickname "Star" was great. He saw me a little lost when I got in, and immediately approached me and said "you want to try something out?". So he gave me a sample, and all. I really appreciated that, because when you don't know what to order in a new location, it can be a little intimidating, so that helped a lot. Anyways, place is good, and food is awesome! Please give it a try!

I really enjoyed this little place for lunch. The guys at the counter were really nice, and the food was ready in a jiffy. We had chicken schwarma, baba g, hummus, and shish kebab. It was all really good! Would definitely return.

The lovely Julie N. treated me to Kebab House. We shared the adana kebab and lahmajun plate w/ hummus and ezra + Turkish coffee and the free large drink that came with a Yelp check-in (woot!). I think this place has room to grow but it was an excellent dining experience nonetheless. Here's an explanation on both fronts: the adana kebab was excellent in flavor and spice but a touch dry and tough on the outside (i.e. it was hard to slice...especially when expecting something super moist). The lahmajun (first time trying this dish anywhere) was also excellent in flavor...but at the end of the day it was a bit bland and the bottom layer steamed/moistened the top layer rendering the crust a touch soggy. The ground beef/lamb mixture was tasty...but it just seemed like it was missing something. It's a good appetizer for groups in other words. You only need a taste and not much more. The hummus (freshly made) was excellent as was the ezra. More pita would have been welcomed. I don't know what brand of pita they use but I'm a fan. The service was excellent and friendly though there was some confusion about the prices -- the receipt wasn't itemized which would have been nice. It seemed a bit pricey for the portion size and Little Rock (though I'm continually surprised at price points here) but the sandwiches seem like an excellent value. I'll be back for those, no doubt. The tables were clean but it's a small, no frills space. Also, and this is a relatively serious complaint...it was FREEZING. I didn't even consider taking my winter coat off. So, room to grow! But I'll be back and look forward to it.

It was 45 minutes till close when I walked into the nearly empty store front in a Little Rock strip mall. I'd read good things and was hopeful. The man repeatedly pushed me toward the kofte over the Adana kebab. I trusted him. Choosing ezma and baba ganouj as my sides with a coffee to end I settled in. The smells were the first good sign. When he started cooking the aromas wafted from the small kitchen were mouth watering. The plate that arrived was simple. Four pieces of kofte, each on a quarter of warm pita, a small cup of yogurt sauce, the aforementioned sides and a grilled pepper. The pepper had a little spice which was great (spice is the thing). The kofte was moist, with good textures and well seasoned. The ezma was fantastic. The baba good but not amazing. The ambience is basic and feels like a take-away. Finally the coffee. Serves in an ornate saucer cup cover it's slightly spiced and slightly sweet. Perfect. The guy running everything when I stopped by was very friendly and easy but in low maintenance so there's that.

I ordered the lamb kabob with rice, hummus, and grilled green peppers. The lamb was very delicious along with the peppers. The rice however, tasted like it was over cooked with a lot of olive oil. And the hummus was very bland. My friend ordered the falafel meal with feta salad, and hummus. The falafel was good and the salad was very delicious. Would recommend coming here anytime. The ambience was casual and bright. Great for large parties as they have plenty of seating.

Food was great & I'll tell you why. Lived in Izmir, Turkey for 2 years & my wife is Turkish...we're pretty picky about Turkish food, so we know what to look for. After trying Istanbul Med a few days ago, we decided to give Kebab House a try. We both agreed that this is THE place for some authentic Turkish cuisine. No fancy decor here like the other places in town. Just real, good food & a warm atmosphere. I could even appreciate the sounds of Turkish Super Lig football in the background (I wish they offered the patrons an additional tv for match watching). Anyhow, I had the Adana Kebab & my wife had Lahmacun. They were both excellent. I recommend this place. It's better than Istanbul Med restaurant...if you don't wanna take my word for it, go see for yourself.

Adana Kebab is amazingly good. The tsikis is on point and the hummus with pita has a very good flavor. Definately will be visiting here again in the near future.

Pretty good. I didn't know what to get but the cashier recommended the beef doner wrap. It was a nice size portion of food. I left full and happy. I will be back.

This place is AWESOME. Not only have they done some redecorating, the food is great. Love the rice, kibbe, Adana kebab, felafel... I could go on but it is all great! The people are friendly and the baklava is delicious :). This place is a staple with good, wholesome food. A must try.

Amazing authentic Mediterranean food. Excellent prices for the great quality. I posted a photo of our yummy lunch today - we will be back for sure to try more soon! Best Mediterranean food in Little Rock outside of Layla's. Parking may be challenging when the sports bar next door fills up, but it really is worth it to try to eat here anyway. Please help keep this place in business! :)

I just had a nice lunch here . For the money you get a lot of food. I ordered a Kofte Kabeb with a Turkish salad and rice. Basically they were beef meatballs.

Visiting LR for the week, and wanted to try it because of the Yelp ratings. Really close to our hotel, which was nice. They were all very nice, made good suggestions, and the food was good. For $8.95, I got the beef doner plate. This consisted of a gracious gyro meat portion, some really good fries, a pair of falafels, and a really good pita, cut into fours. It was portioned well, not too much, not too little. Some tzatziki and ketchup accompanied the dish, too. My bf got the chicken doner plate, and said the chicken breast was really moist, which surprised me. I would give it five stars, but unfortunately, I've had better gyro meat in San Diego. I'd still come here though; it's a typical lunch spot that is clean, and serves food hot. Other food items include a selection of salads, some shawarmas, some pita wraps, a flatbread pizza-like thing, hummus, and even rice pudding.

Everything was excellent, from the Kofte kebabs to the Tabouli. They even had authentic and delicious tzatziki sauce! The chicken shish kebab was amazing as well.

After reading the reviews my wife and I decided to give Kababs a go. The positive reviews were spot on. We ordered the Doner plate with sides of Falafal, Baba Ganoush, Shepherd Salad and Hummus, all delicious! For drinks we enjoyed the tea and Turkish coffee, both delightful when accompanied by a Baklava for dessert. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant clean and pleasant. A return visit soon is definitely in our plans!

Very tasty Lahmajun. I really liked it. It is worth visiting to have some Turkish tea after a nice lunch or dinner. It does not look fancy, but the delicious food compensate.

An unassuming restaurant with 14 tables and large portions of flavorful food. The beef doner plate includes two sides from a creative menu of seven cold and three hot sides. Twenty-five minutes after we ordered, a large plate came with a heaping pile of tasty gyro meat, their special yogurt-based sauce, a pita quartered, fresh tasting tabouli with lots of parsley and lemon, along with babaganoush, a smooth roasted eggplant dip. My dining partner had ordered the beef doner sandwich. His generous portion of meat came with lettuce, tomato, onion and sauce, filling a very large flatbread. As we were eating, the person who took our order brought over a surprise--a roasted green pepper. A delicious addition! The soup and dessert sounded good but we were full. We spoke to two diners sitting near us who had ordered different items and were very happy with their meals. So if you want a delicious taste of Turkish food at very reasonable prices, you can eat in, take out or have food delivered from Kebab House. Don't be surprised if you have leftovers worth saving!

Friendly staff BUT The Chicken Doner was dry, salty, and lacked flavor. I could have made it at home. I hate to be the one to give it only two stars, but it was not worth my money. I think people in AR have low expectations in general when it comes to your ethnic food.p

First time visiting LR and had lunch at this little place with friends. Super friendly staff who were very helpful and accomodating. The meals were fresh and delicious and service was fast. I had a chicken doner plate that was a generous portion with 2 sides for about $9. Great food!

Here's what I know: *Limited menu, but tasty selections. I tried the chicken doner with a side of falafel. *Friendly, Turkish owners. They felt bad about running out of fries, so they offered us free baklava and Turkish tea. *Fast and affordable! *Their Turkish pizza looks delicious. *Worth your time and $.

I convinced a group of us at work to try something different. Most of us were really happy with the Kebab House. The schwarma is really good, they have great combo and lunch deals. Some of my teammates got other items which looked delicious and were plated beautifully. The hummus and falafel are really good. Prices are very reasonable, check it out!

My 5-star review takes into account that this is NOT a ritzy-titzy restaurant, and nor does it pretend to be. It's a simple, start-up with a few tables and great mediterranean food located in a small strip mall, and with reasonable prices, but I'm adding this to my list of eateries in Little Rock that I'll continue to go back to. Our first trip in was last night, and we'd heard great things about the "new kebab restaurant on Markham." We ordered a split plate of the Adana Kebab with chosen sides of hummus and falafel for $8.95. It was plenty for two eating late at night, and it was fresh and delicious. If you are burned out on the same old choices of Mexican, Italian, Chinese, and Japanese here in Little Rock, this is definitely a place for you to try. If you go one time, you will return, I promise. Lastly, I'd really like to see the owners make a success of this restaurant. They obviously have invested heart and soul into the little place, and we need more food choices in Little Rock. Go, see, eat!
